Steve started playing semi-professionaly in 1992 with a local group called the Altar Boys and a group called Full Throttle. The Altar Boys group lasted about two years, playing mostly in the western Wisconsin area. Full Throttle stuck it out for ten years playing all the dives in Western Wisconsin and the Twin Cities area. Following the Altar Boys would be a group that eventually would be called Alchemy vii.

This group started off being an original group then switching to covers and then going back to all original material. This is the only band Steve would write and record original music with. In 2002 Steve hooked up with some Twin Cities musicians and formed the band Wicked Blue, playing covers in the Twin Cities area.

As of today Steve can be seen playing with a group called Epic which features members of former Twin Cities bands Full Throttle, Decade, and Wicked Blue. Come check the band out!

Steve says " At this stage of the game its all about having fun and trying to give the best performance I can possibly give."
